NKR is a small label which is run in and between Tokyo, Los Angeles, Berlin and London.

In 2008, two close friends; Davi Liu and Ian Hawgood, decided to start a label together. They wanted the label to be founded on the very simple principle of releasing genuinely soulful, impacting music, without regard for genre.

We love kodachrome, ektachrome, polaroids, super 8 and other low-res audio and visual works. Thank you.
